2nd Edit 1/3/2020As this camera is functioning fully now, I decided to go ahead and increase rating to 5 stars. For all I know, the "glitchyness" I experienced previously may have been user-error.So really I have no complaints, and the seller was very responsive to any issues I had.Very pleased with the camera. For anyone looking at this one (PC540), you might consider instead the PC650 which is dual band (works on 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi).Edit 1/1/2020I somehow managed to get the sharing feature to work. After trying unsuccessfully several times, including deleting and re-creating accounts, it suddenly worked. User error? No idea, but the sharing is working as expected now.Edit 12/31/2019My original headline was "Won't recognize SD card, Victure unresponsive"After about a week, VICTURE acknowledged my concerns. Possibly the delay was due to large requests for customer support. They offered to send an SD card and also a replacement camera.I eventually got the camera to recognize my 64GB C10 SD card by deleting and re-creating my account, and re-setting my camera. Basically I started from scratch. But now it is working.I decided to leave 1 star off because the app (IPC360) seems somewhat glitchy, and also because the app has limited playback functionality. I have mine set up to record only motion activation. When I review the clips, there is no functionality to fast forward, which would be useful. Also some of the clips don't seem to show any activity, which could either be due to a delay in camera start-up (ie, the activity stopped before the camera began recording?), or maybe the sensitivity is set too high.Another irritation is that the pan control can be glitchy at times, sort of "semi-responsive." Most of the time it seems to work pretty well though. Also sometimes when panning, the camera simply decides to do a 360 rotation for no apparent reason. The picture quality is very good, and the night vision is also very good. One other concern is that I currently can not get the camera to share with a second cellphone. Before I deleted and re-created my account, I was able to share. I believe that eventually I will be able to correct this, but as stated, software seems to be a bit "glitchy."Overall, a nice camera for the price!I'm getting ready to return this camera! This is unfortunate because the camera appears to be a great item, but for the life of me I cannot get it (or maybe the software) to recognize my SD card. And Victure is completely unresponsive to their web-form or their e-mail when I request help. The camera will record just fine if I make a manual recording or snap a picture, but the motion detection recording is unusable because the app continually informs me that there is no SD card.My card is a Sandisk 64GB C10, as per what I can discern is needed from my research. The app was useless in formatting the card, so I used the Verbatim FAT32 Tool. This is becoming way too frustrating!
I have two of these cameras already for my living room and master bedroom, and I just purchased another for my second bedroom. Not only are these great pet cameras with two way communication, but I think they're just fine for security reasons as well. I am notified on my android phone whenever motion is detected, and it's recorded on the memory card too. There's also an option to upload the recorded video's to their cloud services which is a monthly paid subscription. The camera can be mounted or set up on a table. It's about 4" tall and about 3" wide. It has a 360° viewing angle and it's not noisy when it moves to different angles (you can program it to change angles automatically at set times). The viewing angle is pretty wide, so it picks up a lot of area. It's spot on whenever there's any movement, it actually starts recording before I see anything coming into view, which is always a little freaky, but good I suppose! It doesn't really stand out like a security camera normally does, which might be a good thing. It can also be used as a baby monitor too, using your phone as the monitor while camera is on baby. You can always watch live feed, as long as you're camera is on the wifi, but your phone doesn't have to be. For $35 bucks, I don't think you can go wrong. Nice clear color picture (B&W when in infrared, also very clear). I highly recommend this product, something that I don't often do. Hope you enjoy it as well as I do... PS, It's not difficult to set up either.
We bought this camera when we adopted a new dog recently. He's crated while we're at work, so I wanted something to put my mind at ease and make sure he's not trying to escape or hurt himself somehow. This camera provides that peace of mind for me! I stay in our driveway for a few minutes and watch the live feed to make sure he settles down, then I'll check in on the feed occasionally while I'm at the office. The setup process was pretty easy. As for the actual camera functions, I can only speak for the live feed, as I don't utilize some of the other features available (like recorded playback or motion detection alerts). I've tested the talking function to make sure it works, though I don't use it often. The picture clarity is quite good and I like that you can pan around 360 degrees. Although, I will say I went an embarrassingly long time thinking my camera was defective because the picture was only black & white, and very blurry. Turns out I had failed to peel off the clear circle of plastic that was covering the lens. Word to the wise ;)We have two other dogs and I kind of wish I would have gotten this camera a long time ago just to peek in on them to see if they really just sleep all day!
Purchased this camera for a little unconventional use: it is in my son's room so I can monitor him while he is remote learning. I've had the camera for almost 4 months. Here are my thoughts: the daylight picture quality is very good. Clear and crisp image. The night vision quality is amazing. The photos show my younger son's room when I moved the camera there one time. First picture is looking at the crib, about 10 feet away from the camera. The second is looking at the closet, about 5 feet away. I haven't tested the motion detection as I have not needed to do that. Now, the app that you need to install is very user friendly. Linking the camera was quick and easy. I installed it on both a tablet and my phone and was able to link with both. You can only watch on one at a time, though, so keep that in mind. The pan arrows are very sensitive and moving the camera vision around is a breeze. I did not put in a a memory card or purchase the cloud storage as I have no need for it. The camera still works without the card, you just can't record anything. Here are some negatives: there is about a 2 second lag time between what happens in real life and when you see/hear it on the screen. Again, this may be a none issue if used as a security camera. I talk to my son thru the camera via the app, and I can hear him call me in his room, followed by hearing him on camera 2 seconds later. It works out fine once you know that, so you just wait for a bit to allow for that lag time. Another thing, the app drains the battery super fast of on continuously. I tend to keep the app open this way so I can see what my son is doing and if he needs help. So, the tablet needs to be plugged in most of the time. I know some people want to use this as a baby monitor, so these are two things to consider. My overall impression: I would recommend this camera. It has great image quality, easy to use, it's great that it is wifi connected and can be used on the phone. That increases the range that it can be used at (for example, my regular video baby monitor loses signal when I am at my patio. I can place this camera in his room and be on the patio and k iw he is ok).
This camera is awesome! Really easy to hook up, and just as easy to create an account. We bought it to check in on our pets while we're working. Picture quality is fantastic. You can move the camera from side to side, up and down, and zoom in. Has the option to be able to hear, and the option to speak through your connected device. We both have Samsung Galaxy J-7, and it works great. Motion detection and night vision are available and work great. If you would like to have family or friends be able to view on their device, they just have to create their own account, then in settings, the primary user can send an invitation to another user. Can also have multiple cams on your account, and can choose which one to view. We love it, and we will buying another. Try it, you will not be sorry!!
